Friedman Schuman, P.C., is pleased to welcome David L. Zive as a new Shareholder in its Financial Services practice. He will concentrate his practice in commercial finance, including commercial loan workouts, and creditor's rights.

"We are delighted to add someone of David's caliber to our team," said Kerry S. Schuman, Friedman Schuman's Managing Shareholder and chairperson of its Financial Services practice. "David's experience, abilities and background will add significant expertise to our formidable Financial Services practice."

"Friedman Schuman maintains one of the most prominent and experienced financial services practices in the Philadelphia area," continued Schuman. "The addition of another experienced attorney will reinforce our pre-eminent reputation and improve the quality of services we offer to our clients."

Zive has over 17 years' experience in private legal practice at Philadelphia-based law firms such as WolfBlock LLP, Dilworth Paxson LLP and Klehr Harrison Harvey Branzburg, LLP, where he structured and negotiated sophisticated commercial real estate and finance transactions, including loan workouts and restructurings, for a wide array of regional and national clients and represented businesses in all stages of development, from emerging growth businesses to public companies, in complex commercial transactions. Zive has also represented debtors and creditors in all phases of commercial bankruptcy reorganizations.

"The decision to join Friedman Schuman was an easy one," continued Zive. "The combination of my background and experience in commercial finance and the depth of Friedman Schuman's finance practice is a 'win, win' combination for me, the firm and our clients."
