JENNIFER L. DAMELIO is an associate attorney at Friedman Schuman, where she concentrates her work in the Elder Law and Estate Administration, Wealth Preservation and Estate Planning, and Corporate and Business Law areas.

Jennifer helps individuals and families with a variety of estate planning matters, including basic wills, complex trusts, planning for retirement assets, and business succession planning.  She also works on elder law matters, special needs planning issues, and guardianship proceedings.  In her practice, she counsels individual and corporate fiduciaries and assists in the administration of trusts and estates.  She also has experience representing fiduciaries and interested parties in various Orphans' Court litigation matters.

In 2010, Jennifer received the CALI Award for Excellent Achievement in Current Issues in Health Law, and in 2011 she received the ABA-BNA Award for Excellence in the Study of Health Law.

Jennifer serves on the board of the Chester County Estate Planning Council.  She has given a number of presentations to various organizations and community groups.  Her recent speaking engagements include a presentation on "Drafting a Last-Minute Estate Plan for a Sick or Dying Client" for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, and "Navigating Legal and Ethical Issues in Caring For and Counseling Elders" for the American Society on Aging's national conference.
