Friedman Schuman Welcomes Jennifer L. Damelio

Friedman Schuman is proud to announce that Jennifer L. Damelio has joined the firm as an Associate in the Estate Planning practice area, where she will apply her extensive skills in the Elder Law, Estate Administration, Wealth Preservation, Estate Planning, Corporate and Business law areas. Jennifer has vast experience helping families with estate planning matters. She is also skilled in the preparation of complex asset protection trusts and is practiced in business succession planning, dealing with special needs planning issues and guardianship matters.

Jennifer brings with her a wealth of knowledge regarding not only estate planning, but health law and real property matters as well. In her practice, Jennifer counsels individuals and corporate fiduciaries and assists in the administration of trusts and estates. She also has experience representing fiduciaries and interested parties in various Orphans' Court litigation matters.

Jennifer serves on the Board of the Chester County Estate Planning Council and has given a number of presentations to various organizations and community groups. Her recent speaking engagements include "Drafting a Last-Minute Estate Plan for a Sick or Dying Client" for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute and "Navigating Legal and Ethical Issues in Caring For and Counseling Elders" for the American Society on Aging's national conference.

Jennifer received the CALI Award for Excellent Achievement in Current Issues in Health Law in 2010, and in 2011 she received the ABA-BNA Award for Excellence in the study of Health Law.
