McCaffery Elected Court Of Common Pleas Judge Of Philadelphia County

Friedman Schuman is pleased to announce that former shareholder, Daniel D. McCaffery, was elected as a Judge of the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County. Judge McCaffery was sworn into office on January 6, 2014, and has already commenced his responsibilities as a Judge. McCaffery joined the firm in 1996, and was elected Shareholder in 2003. At Friedman Schuman, McCaffery focused his practice in complex commercial litigation, business disputes and municipal litigation. Prior to joining the firm, McCaffery served as Assistant District Attorney assigned to the Major Trials Division for the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office. McCaffery also served on active duty in the United States Army, First Cavalry Division and the United States Army Reserve, 304th Civil Affairs Unit before joining Friedman Schuman.
