PA Supreme Court Appoints K. Schuman To Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board

Attorney Kerry S. Schuman of the Jenkintown law firm Friedman Schuman, P.C., has been appointed by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania to the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board.

The board, comprised of 10 active Pennsylvania attorneys appointed by the Supreme Court, is responsible for administering the rules pertaining to continuing education for attorneys. This responsibility began with establishing the entire continuing legal education requirements system and continues to include updating the requirements and rules as necessary, monitoring each attorney's compliance with the requirements, notifying attorneys of CLE status, and accrediting and monitoring CLE providers and courses.

Mr. Schuman is the managing shareholder of Friedman Schuman and divides his time between the firm's Corporate and Business Law and Financial Services Practices. Mr. Schuman concentrates his Financial Services work on representing lenders in structuring real estate, inventory, accounts receivable, Article IX, construction, lines of credit, and other types of loans. In the Corporate and Business Law Practice, Mr. Schuman focuses his work on startups, entity formation, contracts, employment agreements, partnership and shareholder agreements, acquisitions and sales of businesses.

Mr. Schuman is a graduate of the Temple University School of Law and the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School. He is admitted to practice before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, the New Jersey Supreme Court, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
