Our Own Robert Nemeroff Appointed to Leadership Positions in the Montgomery Bar Association

Friedman Schuman Layser is pleased to recognize the continued leadership and professional contributions of Robert Nemeroff, Esq. within the Montgomery Bar Association as we move into 2026.

Bob has served as Co-Chair of the Civil Court Rules Committee alongside Colin O’Boyle, Esq., who will assume the role of President of the Montgomery Bar Association in 2026. This committee plays a vital role in reviewing and refining the civil procedural rules that guide practitioners throughout Montgomery County. We are pleased to share that Bob will continue in this leadership capacity in 2026, working with the Honorable Garrett D. Page of the Court of Common Pleas of Montgomery County as the other Co-Chair.

In addition, Bob has been appointed Vice Chair of the Montgomery Bar Association’s Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Committee for 2026, serving with Committee Chair Louis Hockman, Esq. The ADR Committee is instrumental in promoting effective mediation, arbitration, and other dispute-resolution processes that benefit both attorneys and the broader community. This appointment reflects Bob’s continued commitment to advancing efficient and collaborative, alternative methods of resolving disputes.

We congratulate Bob on these meaningful appointments and commend his dedication to supporting the legal profession, the courts, and the Montgomery County community through service and leadership.
