We are pleased to announce that our firm will now be known as Friedman Schuman Layser, P.C, effective immediately. This name change reflects the significant contributions and leadership of Derek R. Layser, a shareholder of the firm and chairman of the medical malpractice department.
Mr. Layser, a highly respected attorney with an extensive civil trial practice, has been a vital part of the firm’s success since 2015, playing a key role in growing its litigation practice. With more than 100 cases tried to a jury’s verdict and numerous six- and seven-figure verdicts and settlements to his credit, Mr. Layser’s expertise in medical malpractice, product liability, and complex personal injury matters has earned him a distinguished reputation in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
