Robert H. Nemeroff, a Shareholder of the firm, was recognized for the third consecutive year, for his Personal Injury practice on the 2016 Super Lawyers list. Mr. Nemeroff is one of the firm’s senior litigators with more than three decades of litigation experience in state and federal courts. With an emphasis on personal injury litigation, Bob has successfully obtained multiple six and seven figure verdicts and settlements on behalf of injured clients. He is the chairperson of both the firm’s Litigation and Personal Injury practices.
Robert A. Bacine has been selected to the 2016 Super Lawyers list for his Estate Planning practice. This is his seventh year on the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers list. Bob’s other areas of concentration are estate administration, representation of small business owners and professionals in all corporate matters, elder law, general taxation and business succession planning. Bob has practiced in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania since 1970.
David E. Stern, a Principal of the firm, was selected to the 2016 Super Lawyers list for his Bankruptcy practice. This is David’s seventh consecutive year on the list. David represents commercial lending and leasing clients in troubled credit situations, including workouts, loan restructurings, enforcement actions and bankruptcy and reorganization proceedings.
Derek R. Layser, a Shareholder of the firm, has been selected to the 2016 Super Lawyers list for his practice in Medical Malpractice. This is Derek’s twelfth consecutive year on the Super Lawyers list. Derek is chairman of the Medical Malpractice department at Friedman Schuman and has numerous six and seven figure jury verdicts and settlements to his credit. Derek also has extensive experience handling cases involving product defects, surgical and pharmacy errors, premises liability, such as apartment fires, and auto and trucking accidents.
